FH 451 pg. 20-41

I do have a few confusions about whats going on but everything seems to make sense when you go over what you read about twice. As for now, I dont really have any good questions.

Pages 21-40 tell me that Clarisse is a very interesting young girl. Shes not a very social person. I see Clarisse more as a laid back type of girl who would rather sit and do something not every 17 year old girl would do like knit or watch and pay close attention to her suroundings. I guess you can say she is "mature" for her age. I say this because of the conversations held with Montag and herself. Montags wife on the other hand wasnt mentioned too much. All I know about her is that she tried to commit suicide by over dosing on sleeping pills. I also think that Montag is not paying enough attention to her as he should be. Maybe because thats HIS WIFE.

I personally dont really think that the people in the book are that different from the people today. Its obvious that people in the book have relation to people today. Maybe not so many like Clarisse. It may be rare but im sure they DO exist.

Nick, I think you are doing something wrong. You have three blogs, one for each blog entry ! You just need one blog, and you put different entries on there. I'm really glad to see that you are keeping up with your work!

Nick, I think you have a good point when you say that the people today aren't really different from the people in the book. I feel the same way, kind of, i think that people today (or whenevre the book was written) are kind of heading in that direction of being violent but simultaneously happy.
